Gene Vassel is a husband, father, veteran educator, ocean lifeguard, Ironman, entrepreneur, and founder of the veteran nonprofit Ninjas4Vets. Diagnosed with a learning disability early in life—what he proudly calls his superpower—Gene developed a passion for creative problem-solving, resilience, and innovation.

Through Amagansett Citrus Press, LLC, home of CitruslyFresh, Gene is blending his love of wellness and community with a mission-driven approach. Over the next five years, the company is committed to donating 1% of sales to support elementary-level entrepreneurship education and veteran recovery programs through Rivers of Recovery.
